Sorry to be a pain, getting a last few ideas together for my leopard viv and would like to have a look at a few others!

I do not want to see any little plastic pots in a row filled with lizards, but rather vivs set up with substrate and backgrounds etc..

Mostly curious because the ventilation thread says leopards are not good climbers and I dont want to get it wrong!

IMO that's such a waste of height! You only really need 12" height max. for leopard geckos. If you were to use heat mats that is. Wink

My apologies. But that said, they still have wasted height

so how high are they supposed to be? its gonna be real hard to work with a viv thats 6 inches high mate Confused unlike a tub system that you can just pull out....

sorry where do you get your vivs from they look good (all be it a bit dull decor wise no offense intended)

I am planning on a group of 3 geckos (or maybe just 2), and was hoping to set up fake walls with rises leading up to various caves for them to hide in as well as a few ground based hidey holes.

this is what I am looking at: http://www.faunology.co.uk/shop/product.php?productid=18775&cat=312&page=1

now I gather that the little buggers are somewhat prone to falling off things so the rises and ledges are going to be wide for them to help avoid this and the ground will be nice and desert like with some spineless cacti and aloe vera (hopefully).

Sounds ok?

Please please please recommend some better and preferably cheaper vivs, because from what I gather this is too high for my needs and I really cannot find any that look better!
