Is there a decent tutorial that have a humane way of setting up breeder colonies? A lot of the tutorials for breeder racks I have seen seem to be overpopulated and dirty.

Eggman has a guide, it's for rats but I'm sure you could alter things a little. I did have the link but I've cleared my sent box so if Eggy has the link handy I'm sure he'll be along to post it.

Thanks, Eggman's setup look a lot more humane than some of the wire-bottom, dirty aquariums or overstuffed tubs. I am assuming he's using a 1.5cm (1/2") mesh?

Should I reduce it to 1/4" or 1/8" mesh? I forget how small of a space a mouse can escape through. I am guessing I want the height of the tub to be about 5", or at least no more than 13 cm; or they can reach for food a bit higher than this?

My da is thinking about building one as a gift, so a proper tutorial would be helpful, and you guys gave me one. Very Happy

Well to be honest with you I think that isn't a bad idea mate, in the last week or so I have directed at least 3 people to it. Very Happy
