Hi, Dave @ Insectsunlimited... & after a major upheaval, my computer totally crashing & some "ne`er-do-wells" causing untold grief... I plan to return to the forum. I`ve had to replace my computer & start from scratch as my old one was sent a virus that crashed the lot & I was able to retrieve NOTHING. Four years hard work lost.
My expansion into the lock-up, collapsed around my ears as some scurrilous little man tried to destroy me... but I am now breeding roaches again in the house that was to be, a temporary let until I`d finished re-furbing the flat above the lock-up. . . & it`s become permanent for the immediate future.
I will be putting a price-list on the classifieds shortly & if any of my old associates or customers wish to contact me, my old Email address on djmesser@ntlworld.com is up & running again now. I look forward to hearing from some of you again after such a long break, sorting everything out. _________________ Dave Messer @ Insectsunlimited.

Hi There, Thanks to everyone & normal service will be resumed a.s.a.p. but it will take a while as I have nearly 200 Emails to answer, all my accounts to re-set up & care-sheets & stock sheet/ price list to compile again. If I haven`t answered your Email yet, I will in the not-too-distant-future & I apologise for the upheaval, hopefully now at an end. Regards... Dave. _________________ Dave Messer @ Insectsunlimited.

Bit late now but worth backing up your data via an external hard drive, at least you can then retrieve all your data files saves a lot of grief.
Good luck with it all! _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Hi Rick, I know it`s a case of "being wise after the event" but at the time, I could see no reason for anybody to ruin, what was on my part, useful information that would help others.
As I`m not that proficient at operating computers, I thought I would just pass on any help I could on the 40+ years of experience I have accumulated, studying & keeping various invertebrates.
I didn`t bargain for ANY of the cr*p that I`ve had since March, or the problems & costs I`ve incurred, sorting the whole lot out.
The perpetrator was no better than a common criminal & his acts, no better than vandalism. Maybe, if he had a genuine interest in invertebrates & herps... he would have better spent his time learning from others ... rather than try to wipe me out over all I can think, must have been jealousy. . . or selfishness. It`s a sad world when we have to fork out for security systems, to safeguard against idiots with no ulterior motive or personal gain, causing upheaval to others. Let`s just say, I`ve learnt. . . but it was a VERY expensive lesson. Regards... Dave. _________________ Dave Messer @ Insectsunlimited.

Hello Dave, perhaps you could contact some of your previous customers to send back a copy of your caresheets to save you having to write them again? _________________ www.Reptilebreeder.co.uk

Hi Jas, great idea, I have to wait for a few more of my old customers to contact me 1st, as I lost all my customer bank & addresses too. Quite a few have already contacted me so it should all work out soon. Regards... Dave. _________________ Dave Messer @ Insectsunlimited.
