hi all this has been a long awaited project of mine

these are an amazing species of snake that lives in south east asia, china, burma etc

i have been working with these for the best part of 4 years and finaly i reach my goal,

5 out of my 7 eggs have now hatched and out of the last 2 eggs 1 has slit and im waiting for the last egg to slit,

happy days!!!!

these are sunbeam snakes, (xenopeltis unicolour)

these very secritive snakes, live in amounst the leaf litter of their ranges in south-east asia, you hardly see them as they are a burrowing species, i have nevcer been bitten by any sunbeams so i find them very calm and easy to work with, babys can be fun top get feeding but when they start there great feeders, average size is around 4 foot with males slightly larger, these are very primitive snakes, so you are looking at around 5-6 years for sexual maturity,
