How often do people clean out their terrariums completely?

I know you should wipe away stuff they leave behind often, but I wondered how often people do a complete clean of their terrariums?

Also do people tend to do this at night when they can remove the geckos so they do not disturb the geckos sleep pattern?

I'm just about to clean my tank out. I probably do it once every 1 or 2 months but I have 2 adults in my tank. When I just had my male it could have been up to 3 months. Just go off what it looks like or smells like

I tend to clean them out late afternoon, as mine sleep on the back wall I can get most stuff out and clean it without even disturbing them and then when I have to remove the last plant and catch them they just go in a cricket tub each. Although now I have a spare exo terra so they can go in that.

I wouldn't think it would matter about when you chose to do it, just make sure that if it's the day and they are asleep that you don't startle the crestie by grabbing it whilst its asleep.

I clean mine out (2 adults- Male and Female) every month, normally in the afternoon...Mine just sleep in kitchen roll tubes so all I need to do is take them out the tank and they just stay in the tubes...
