Well was supposed to work today but way too hot for plastering so took a drive down to the show with the family...after nearly collapsing, not from the heat, but from the £5 per adult entry charge I wandered over to see Scott wilting in the heat..lol Laughing Everyone looked roasted and thankfully it wasn't jam packed. There was a fairly decent display of animals there although some looked obviously stressed by the heat!Met up with a few old faces and was nearly tempted into buying some cracking looking bullsnakes but refrained from doing so..lol Laughing Not a bad show at all but the heat didn't help in my opinion and pretty sure if it was cooler the numbers would have been higher through the doors.
So who got what today if you went?..

I did see you though sorry didn't get a chance to talk.

I'm not trying to tick people of but it was way smaller than I expected (and I thought Doncaster was light).

The animals were on the whole excellent but the range was well limited and the amount of sellers for this time of year I thought was low.

Full praise to everyone that exhibited and sold great stock bu in my opinion (yes I known its worth nothing) it was light on content.

If I wanted to be controversial I'd say why try and sell VERY young and light Chondro's for full price!

"He waits for open hostility"

Never the less the quality of 99% of captive bred stock was good but again light and poorly attended..sorry

Its a shame that the heat had a bad effect upon certain species and my fried recons that may amphibians were under serious risk due to this.

Food for thought?

Far too hot for most amphibians so if you bought any keep an eye on them esp newts and sals. Slightly dominated by leopard gecko's..

I thought the show was 'OK', a few of the usual faces, WAY too hot.

I thought the yemens that were available looked too small to be sold.

Came back with a Pastel Female Royal, a High Gold Male Royals and some Spiders (8 legged!)

As it was only an hour from me I cant complain!
