I've been using these here on bali for a year or so, they are very useful.
having the 2 circuits is really good(timed and on always) and an inbuilt timing unit. So far we have not had any troubles apart form a rat chewing through a cable.
They are very easy to set (number of daylight hours and temp), they also have inbuilt alarms if you wish to use them.
They would be highly recommended from me.
They are also very small and have a digital read out display so you can easily see the temp where the probe is.
Maybe 9 out of 10 in my book. _________________ Life in Bali is sweet,

Thanks Jon,very helpfull mate. I really like the look of them and the digital display of the temp is a nice touch, saves gunning the inside of vivs, tubs etc..Think I will get one and give it a go. _________________

Down side is they are on/ off devices with no proportional or dimming ones in the range. |

Stuart I thought that too, i've looked at several reviews online & none of them state to be a pulse or even dimming.

They also come with a 2 meter probe as standard which is very useful as it is not too fat(no big fat holes to drill)
we use them with the cut to length heat mats, ceramics and heat cable.
I do use habistat pulse proportional thermostats with our incubators here, as they are solid state technology and seem to last forever, even in the harsh high humidity and temperature in Indonesia. _________________ Life in Bali is sweet,
