OK first off it might be better to have just the one at first, although you could get a pair but have 2 setups. If you buy hatchlings/juvies you could probably house them in a 30x30x30 until they are about 4 months or so and then up them to bigger tanks as you see fit (maybe a 30x30x45 until about a year and then up to a 45x45x45 or 45x45x60 when they can be sexed and paired up)

Setup - I set mine up to be natural but you can do a more basic setup for a crestie if you wanted, I just choose this way. I go for eco earth substrate (compacted down to avoid them eating a lot of it when catching prey etc), then lots of plants - I use live but fake are just as good. Make sure there are lots of things to climb on like branches and wood.

Everyone is more than happy to answer you're questions on here to make sure you are fully prepared for when you get some. But please read through the posts in this forum and look at some caresheets, which will probably answer some of the basic questions you might have.

I am sure somewhere on scotts main site he has a price guide telling you how much the average setup costs.

If they are the little white mites then there isnt a problem with them. I have them in my set up, also i think Scott has them in some of his set ups to they are like little vacuum cleaners eating up all the gecko poop Laughing As far as i know they don't harm the gecko in any way Confused

Sorry I wasn't around to answer but it's pretty much been covered. The only problem I find with them is that as soon as the paste/CGD starts to go a bit off (after a day or so) they swarm it Very Happy but I suppose it gives me an indication of when to refresh it.
