The mossy frogs have been louder than usual durring the day and night at the moment, so I have been spying on them. Managed to snap a pic of a pair attempting amplexus, plus some general pics. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

A couple of pics of their set up. Plenty of places for them to hide if they want; but they dont seem bothered, also tried to create a rock pool with some overhangs and some movement in the water as this, to a degree, replicates their environment of living in caves. They tend to hang out on rock ledges etc. Its a bit of a trade of as I wanted the set up to be pleasing to view and have some exposed areas for observation but also privacy and places for the mossies to feel secure. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Cheers Stu, took a while to get the set up right but far to easy to overwork it I think and then lose what your trying to achieve, took about ten hours in total.
The fiddly bits were the sorting out the electrics, luckily the tank has plenty of access holes cut in the glass at the rear with adjustable size cable holders, just a question then of taking plugs off everything to feed cables through then making holes in cork background and then concealing the wires.
I enjoyed the decor bit the best, luckily enough didn't need to buy anything as got a huge box of various bits for set ups of various descriptions. Amazing though the actual quantity of materials required, especially the plum and grey paddle stones for the rock pool.
All good fun and the frogs seem happy. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Hi
Wonderful frogs. Hopefully you"ll end up with lots of eggs.
Theloderma has been bred several times by Patrick Nabors:

offers a lot of information about housing and breeding.
