ok so ive just been reading the paper and came across an article about a man and his daughter who decided to buy a reptile they could both look after so after reading that a royal python was an ideal "starter" snake ordered it online but instead they received a reticulated python. it was only after posting pics on a forum they discovered that it was actually a retic. they claim that it grew from 5ft to to more that 6ft and that they only had it just over a week, the paper also goes on to there have been cases of retics eating grown men. this annoyed me for two reasons firstly what does this do to the opinions of many that dont understand the whole herp scene considering that at the top of the page is a royal that has been pictured and secondly who the hell could mistake a royal for a retic. thats potenally over a 20ft mistake Embarassed well ive had my little rant so feel a little better Very Happy oh and sorry it kinda drags on a bit

lol what!?!?! that is so stupid. i hate it when newspapers make up rubbish about stuff, especially animals, now peiople are going to start thinking that all snakes can eat them.
i remember when i was thinking about getting a royal python and i told people and they said oh a python they get like over 10 ft don't they and can eat people...... errr no.

i agree with everything you said in your little rant Very Happy

I'd love to know the name of the online shop he bought it from!
