Came home today and found one of my female spur thighs laying eggs , really pleased as this is my first ever tortoise clutch.
She laid them all in the space on 5 minutes max (not including digging time). Ended up with 7 great looking eggs.
So anyone have any good tips for incubation etc?
I'll post some pics up tomorrow. _________________

Nice.
I've hatched all mine in the good old poly box incubators half buried in slightly moist pearlite @ 29c for males or 31.5c for females. (found 30c gives you a mix of both.) Good luck with them. Oh - hatch around 9 - 12 weeks. |
