Have had this book for quite a while and was flicking through this morning so thought I'd see who else has it/has read it as there seems to be quite a few monitor fans on here! I think its an excellent book, very informative and easy to read with some excellent summarisations throughout. He has an excellent section at the back showing exact locations of numerous species. The only downside is this book isn't that recent (1996) so some species have not been recognised in it, such as V.reisingeri. However I would definately recommend it to all fans of Varanidae
