i couldnt get the terrarium i wanted have it on order for next week so i had to try my best to convert a vivarium i have got i have put a arcadia uvb 23 w bulb in there and replaced one of the doors with the finest mesh i could get i also doubled the mesh so it is even smaller i have a halogen lamop aswell not sure how to put it in. i am also unsure as to if the uv is in right place i am a complete amatuer and i need all advice i can for my baby cham i have made a pic please please tell me what esle i need to do or what i am doin wrong thanks here is a picture of setup forgive the reflection on right hand side. with the light i have got do i still require the ballas 5.0 bulb the woman in shop said that this was better and it wants to be as it cost me 30 pound just for bulb. i have to go out to get something will be back shortly _________________ sam |

Sam hun you have done really well, but that bulb will fry the baby, all you need is a small 25 watt halogen mounted outside the viv hun. the cham will climb up that wire straight on to the lamp, babies like it cool and humid, take the lamp out he will be ok with just the UV till u get sorted. _________________

Another thought Sam, if you find the small food is escaping through the mesh you could put some fine net curtain over it, or stretch some ex large tights over to keep the food in, you are to be commended for trying so hard to do right by this little guy  _________________
