snow corn keeps trying to bite me !

Hia all, I left my snow corn for a week so it could get used to its new home like ive been told in my last posting, now every time i put my hand in the tank to get it out it keeps trying to bit me Rolling Eyes do i just need to keep letting it bite me till it gets used to me picking it up ?

If it was me i'd not try to get him out, instead i'd just lay my hand flat in the opposite end of the viv, let him approach me and get used to me first. Eventually he should get used to your scent and maybe slide across your hand once he's a little more confident that your not going to eat him.

I'm no expert on little snappers by far, but thats what i would try if mine was biting me all the time. Smile

in my exsperiance with little nippers are to get them out and try and keep them calm whilst holding. if its a young one it shouldnt hurt you just be gentle

also feed him in a separate container so he doesn't associate anything going into his viv as food..... Smile

How old is your snow? With little ones it's perseverance and after a while a trust will happen. Your little ones just has to learn you're not a threat.

it was hatched on 25/05/07, im not bothered about it trying to bite me really it all will be worth it when it does come round i know it Very Happy
