hey all im of to cyprus in 2 weeks , can any1 tell me what kind and where to find , reptiles are over there , i know there is certain types of geckos every where , but im also told there are some huge lizards found on rock piles in "the bush" and some types of snakes aswell , any help greatly received Very Happy

Those huge lizards are probably the stelio agamas, there fairly common there.

You will see snakes all over the place if you leave the road and take a walk. They have snubnosed vipers, black 'whipsnakes' (thats what we used to call them)
If its the summer they also come out to lie in the road and get run over alot.
They have all sorts of lizards though you probably wont be catching any Laughing
They also have big hairy spiders. Ive no idea what sort but as i was wearing flip flops I didnt hang around to check it out.

Just google Cyprus snakes. Its the black ones you see most. Usually just after someone stepped on one and it started thrashing around their feet.
