apparently liver or any mammal meat is not good for them as they are high in fats and the axolotl cannot digest fats such as beef or pork. Alot of americans feed liver but then it has been proven to cause illnesses and death. |

When fed on liver or beef heart, apparently occurrences of sclerosis of the liver increase. _________________

liver also is high in vitamin content-can cause problems! (i think thats why polar bear liver is toxic) _________________ Interested in amphibians? Join us at Myamphibia for friendly banter, amazing pictures and great information. Make some amphibious friends today! |
