Hi all,
I know its a little early, but I can barley contain my excitement! I've purchased 2 Albino's from Bob Clark and am picking them up at the Hamm show in September. I've got my Euro Tunnel ticked ready (I'm doing the trip in one day)... and now playing the waiting game! (which is driving me crazy!). Im having a wooden rack built to take 4 x 50ltr really useful tubs and got all my heat pads, thermostats on the ready!
I've never even been to a reptile show, let alone folk out quite a lot of $$ before even going! So.. getting to the point of my thread... (finally ) Should I need to be prepared to transport my snakes back (i.e take heat pads, boxes ect with me) or would the seller normally provide these?
Any suggestions on how to pack the animals for the journey home would be appreciated, along with any useful links on where to get boxes, transporter heat pads ect.
Cheers _________________ Graphic design genius (print & web)

Take a polystrene box and some heat packs & a thermometer. Make sure you vent the poly box before yuo activate the heat packs as they use up oxygen to work.
Also what out that the snakes don't lay completely on the packs as they get far too hot and could easily kill them.
Best of luck and enjoy the show. _________________

You have your euro ticket all booked up already, cool.
Do you need any special permit to bring your snakes back through the tunnel?
Just read their site and it sayd only cats and dogs can travel........ _________________ royals

I checked with EuroTunel, they advised it's fine to bring reptiles back from Europe as no checks are made.... 'As long as they remain in the vehicle' I think is how they worded it!
I've got my polyboxes, poly chips, heat packs and thermometer on the ready , how many holes should I drill in the boxes?
Each box measures 32L 23W 22D (cm's) I'll probably only need 1 as I'm only bringing back 2 snakes. _________________ Graphic design genius (print & web)
