A few of these arrived today, we have had them before but I couldnt resist trying to get a few photographs. They just seem to light up in the water.

Sea snakes....I've seen it all now. Beautiful to say the least
Are they difficult to care for? _________________ You can't trust the snake......but you can always trust the snake to be a snake. |

Yep, they are Kraits - Laticauda colubinae.
Pete said they are the only species to do well in captivity, that is because they generally have high tolerance to different water types, whilst other species require more acurate water specifications _________________ Cheers Angi

have to take my hat off to Pete, he's certainly sourcing some great species!
So what care advice have you been given? Foods etc
They are great escape artists so I've heard _________________

Yes, they are DWA. They're in an enormous tank which has a purpose built lid that locks, completely safe. It has an external filtration system for brackish water, with one half of the tank full of rocks and other decor, which allows them to sit out of the water too. Sorry I'm not up on their care as they aren't mine. Yep, they eat fish. _________________ Cheers Angi
