when i saw this picture i almost cried. Its labelled as 'regal' but there is nothing regal about this. Crying or Very sad it angers me to see animals in such poor condition. i know im no expert and hav only been keeping reptiles for over a year now but this poor crestie is unwell.

i dont know if it is my place to judge the owner as no background info was given on this pic except that "i thought he looked regal".
so really i need some thoughts on whether i should say something to the owner reguarding this pic?

thoughts please

your response matches mine then. its terrible and how someone can think that this gecko looks fine is beyond a joke. i dont want to offend the owner but i think im gonna hav to say about the poor condition this lil crestie is in.

Thats absolutely awful.. Crying or Very sad Is the owner actually feeding the poor thing?! I would certainly say something to them.. Did they buy it in that condition? Confused
I would approach the subject in a "non-attacking" way so that they dont get defensive and ignore your advice out of spite or something.. Perhaps show them some pictures of healthy geckos?
Let us know how it goes........

Sad

Yep, that sounds like the best way to handle it.

definitely say something as it's clearly not in the condition it should be - certainly not regal.

wow that pic is horrendous, that is just pure ignorance and im sorry pure stupidty, any mug can see that is not a healthy animal, and its not as if a crested gecko is extremely labour intensive so he/she is doing something extremely wrong.I do agree on the soft approach, but a good stern telling off is also needed!!!
