Drill them. Make sure you drill through into a piece of wood or you could crack the plastic.

What are you putting in them?

well i have been keeping young bloods in them with great success, though the two spotted pythons I'm keeping have been on a up in down rollacosta ride back and forth to the vet with RI each time we have beaten one element another one seems to appear as a result of the treatment or so it would appear.
which is leading me to think there is possibly some thing in there environment that is causing them to be ill eg. not enough air/ to much, humidity out of balance. temps....
any help appreciated

Drill or melt as many holes as looks right to you. If you drill lots and lots of holes just remember to provide a humid hide for the bloods.

Spotted pythons do not need as much humidity as bloods.. not by a long long way.

I kept spotted/childredn pythons the same as corns ... never had a problem .....ever. Again just remember to provide a humid hide for them

me and my dad ventilated ours.

We cut a hole measuring 2inches by 1 inch at each end, using a standing knife. We then cut a rectangle of fine mesh/gauze measuring slightly larger than the hole, the we attached it on using a 'frame' of plastic using very strong plastic glue.

i could get some pics if you like

we drill holes in our tubs, and the snakes we keep in them do really well, quite a few of them seem to prefer the tubs to a standard vivarium, maybe its the opacity?
