hello all, back from my first Houten, and i brought myself back a wee trio of R.Brevicaudatus (spelling!?) amongst other things, unfortunately we lost one of the females in transit which was a damn shame but i hope the pair will live nice and happily together, i currently have the pair in a nice glass terrarium i bought the same day, with glass sliding doors etc, a nice thick layer of peat moss and dead leaves and a few branches,
does anyone have any hints and tips on this species? any particular experiences that i should look out for? ive read up on these guys, but as you all know personal experience and first hand advicve can be better than any care sheet!!!
cheers all!! il get some pics when they have settled in!! _________________ [3.2.6 R.Ciliatus|1.4.7 R.Auriculatus

They like to lay eggs at the base of a plant, so live plants are a must, my friend lost a few due to not having a plant, has one now and they are doing fine. I put the plant in to raise humidity and i killed 2 birds with one stone, lucky me.
Good luck with the pair. _________________
