This last one shows his tongue being flicked from the side of his mouth, due to his earlier injury. He is still able to flick to his hearts content; it’s just a bit lopsided.

Scott, any luck with yours yet? Have you still got them? How old etc? I know, I'm a nosy git, hope you haven't forgotten your offer of swapping bloodlines if you do at some point. Very Happy

The only cycling I place on my adults for stimulating breeding is via daylight and a marginal drop in temperature over a few days. Daylight length is naturally reduced during the winter months, from November I lower the ambient temperature to 75-77F during the day to a maximum of 72F at night. The warmest part of the enclosure is also reduced but only to around 87F. This still provides them with a decent thermal gradient over thier enclosure. I maintain this until February or mid March, depending on how keen the snakes appear to be interested in one another, before returning their temperatures back to normal over the course of a day or two.

Introductions are made throughout this time, in roughly 3-4 day periods, with breaks of around 5-7 days when petite meals are offered to the female and very occasionally the male. Males don’t usually eat much during this time if interest has perked up for the female. Seems to work for me. Very interested in new blood, a pair for a pair would be nice at some point in the future. Very Happy

They look great out in the sun..some real nice photos there too..whats the temperaments like?..I heard they were a bit feisty in general..
