hi all i was just wondering what the recommended age for breeding corns is.

The reccomended minimum is 3 yrs old, weight over 300g and 3foot plus.

oh ok. My male is just over a year and is already 3 foot, and i may be buying a 2 year old female, so these are to young, arr well, i'll just have to wait a bit _________________ Tom

Almost all colubrids can breed at one year old IF they are big enough, although breeding at a year old isnt reccomended as the eggs will probably be infertile and there is a possibitity that the young female may become eggbound.
Age has NO bearing on the matter of breeding whatsoever ......... size and weight has.
If breeding is important to you then i would suggest that you feed heavily thoughout the first year including through the first winter and cool them down in the second winter ready for breeding in the following spring.
