Those three species are easily some of the hardest captives to take care of if they are wild caught.
The Boomslang is going to be a real handful. Besides being really fast, getting it to eat rodents is going to take on whole new meaning of struggling. Bar forcefeeding, you can just about scrap any other method. It won't sit still long enough to even attempt a tease feed.
A bite is going to be a very bad thing.
The Gaboons end up being heavily dehydrated, stressed and emaciated in most cases. Also heavily infested with parasites. So be prepared to spend some money on it.
Captive bred Rhino vipers are very difficult captives, so can you imagine how hard a wild caught will be? They are very prone to respiratory infections.
While those prices may look good, you may end up buying more trouble than its worth. _________________ ngiyakuthanda Sonvanger |

Also, Boomslang need space. And alot of it.
They don't do well in the smaller cages you buy at petshops. It needs a lot of height, and you may need to mist it often. Its similar to keeping green mambas, the boomslang just tend to move a whole lot faster.
Really not worth adding to the collection, unless you have the space. _________________ ngiyakuthanda Sonvanger |

For interests sake, a carpet viper and a saw scale viper are the same species, Echis.
The night adder will die, it does not take to mice easily.
My opinion, those fellas are neonate smugglers, or guys looking to make a quick buck. They most certainly don't know what they are selling. _________________ ngiyakuthanda Sonvanger |

LOL these guys are having you on!! Here's the corrections to their "scientific" names
Boomslang - Disphilodus typus
Forest cobra - Naja melanoleuca
Gaboon viper- Bitis gabonica
Green mamba - Dendroaspis angusticeps/viridis
Green tree viper (there are so many) - Atheris sp. are known as bushvipers
Hoodless Cobra - uhm?????? see forest cobra
Leaf Green Viper - petshop name perhaps? Again Atheris
Night adder - Causus rhombeatus (or any of the other six)
Puff adder - Bitis arietans
Rhino viper - Bitis nasicornis
Saw scale Viper - Echis carinatus (or any of the other 3 species)
Spitting Cobra (13 species) - Naja nigricolis (black spitter)
Carpet viper/ Saw scale viper - Echis sp. again _________________ ngiyakuthanda Sonvanger |
