hi all,
i am finding it very hard to decide what to get next. About 3 months bought and set up 2 hatchling boxes however i haven't put anything in them yet, as i cannot decide on what to get. I currently have a male Carolina corn snake and at some point i want to get a female to go with him, but i would also like to get a different species of snake, to add some variety. So i was just wondering what you guys thought i should get out of the following:
1) a new female snow corn snake
2) a trinket snake or two
3) a hognose or two
I want to get all of them at some point and i have the space for all of them, but not the money. So which order do you guys think i should get them. Bearing in mind there will be spaces of about 2 or 3 months between buys. _________________ Tom

I'd suggest either a Female Bull snake or maybe a lovely looking 'Designer' Cali King. I know just where to get them too. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |

Hognose or two. An adult will happily live in a large contico, best fun snakes I have had. supposed to be easy to sex!!!!!!!!!!!
Very popular and easy to breed, so a good breeding project to boot, to add interest.

great thanks for all the input everyone. All the hognoses i have seen seem to be quite expensive at around £70. Does anyone know where they have any cheaper ones?
and is £55 alright for a trinket snake? _________________ Tom

You can get hatchling hognoses often for about £50, but grown on yearlings have ate a lot of food and £70 is reasonable. Sometimes you can pick tehm up cheeper but make sure they are established.

i have decided that i am getting a trinket first, after seeing one in a reptile shop today. Then i will have no money left, but next weekend i will have some more, so i am then going to get a corn.
I shall leave hoggies till later _________________ Tom
