My young diamonds are comming on very well and eat all the time.
I keep them at a lower temperature than most other pythons and they seem to be thriving.
At present they are in plastic tubs and as soon as you take off the lid they come up looking for food.
The female still eats when in slough!
I've never had snakes do this before and wondered if anyone else has had this eating in slough behaviour with there pythons, I never had this with Burmese many years ago!!! _________________ Live for today as your dead for a long long time

Diamonds are always hungry.mine would eat at the same time as shedding if i let them ,They tend to be more active than my other carpets and are always looking for food ...One thing i will say to you is this, From reading and asking several top breeders questions and from keeping them my self. DO NOT feed them the same as carpets,Overfeeding and overweight diamonds are linked to DPS .. mine get fed every three weeks and would eat every 3 days...
ignore my advice if you already know this _________________
