Hi, like all chams they need UV and a basking light, also they like high humidity, their prefence i find is for quite high ambient temps and a hot bask spot, no heat mat is required, hope that helps a bit _________________

I think they are a good starter cham, but like every herp research is the key issue, i keep mine in exo terra vivs with a 10% Uv runing along the top of the mesh hence the 10% uv better penetration
They have 50watt halogen basking bulbs raised about 2inches from the mesh surface giving a basking temp in the mid to low 80s, my adult females are approx 4 to 5 inches nose to vent hope that answers some of your ?s any more questions ask away, i will help if i can and if i cant Rick will be able to, please understand this is all based on my own experiance keeping these chams and nothing is laid in stone _________________

Why dont you do a search on googe and find a good caresheet about them>?
they tell you the basics and then if you have any questions just ask away.
anyway lovely chams karen they look really healthy!
nice colour as normally female chams are quite bland but just as nice as the males! _________________ Regards, Paul.

There's good stuff if you look on adcham.com and chameleonnews.com
You have to be careful not to stress them though. I lost one the other day through stress of moving and unusual surroundings. Having said that I'm told by many good sources that they're pretty hardy in general. Beautiful too |
