Hi
Please advise on the following photos. It is a poly box with 2 36 x 6 heatstrips on a pulse thermostat. it is set at 88/89 inside the plastic container inside the poly box.
my Qs are
1: Does the plastic container look big enough for a clutch of royal eggs?
2: the lid of the plastic container has condensation on it , is it too much and could it cause problems?
3: the vermiculite photos, does the mix look o.k. clumps and crumbles without being able to squeeze any water out?
4: Any positive or negative comments?
kind regards

it all looks great so far. you just need eggs to know for sure if the size is correct. _________________ cardboard city. |

instead or wrapping the heat mats all the way round. why didnt you just get a heat cable and wrap that around, does the same job and is probably cheaper. Thats what i do for my incubator. works everytime. just a thought _________________ 1.1 Jaguar carpet pythons

i agree with eggman you cant see them so if you put a peice of plexi glass in the lid you can see inside thats what i did with my incubator and it works quite well then you can look in the incubator for hatchlings without opening it and disturbing temperatures

thanks
I will see if I can get a spare lid to practise on. do you use fishtank grade silicon to seal it in?
She has just shed so the count down has begun.
about 27 days to go.
Do people recomend that i put a box filled with moss in with her to tempt her to use it as a nesting box??
thanks

I used a moss box on the first clutch, the second female I didn't bother, just let her lay on the dry aspen. Clutch looked fine. _________________
