Here are a few pictures from a recent road trip of mine on Bali.

Large monitors are great fun to be around, and very interactive. They have become a firm favourite of mine since leaving the Uk.

It is really cool to see them in a natural enclosure.

Whoa, that is a nice experience.Cool I'd still be weary, one moody day and that animal can do some serious damage. Shocked
Bali is a lovely island. I was there years ago and really enjoyed my time there.

Yep 100% agree, with larger animals you need to be on your toes and aware of what they are capable of,

I had a small bite from a salvadori within my first few months of living in indonesia and realise how lucky i was it was no more than a few stitches.

Bali is a fantastic place to live and work, I much prefer it to Java which always seems so dirty and overcrowded.

Monitors are fantastic animals, and have sparked much interest with me since working with them.

salvadorii are my favorite monitors by far.

im opening a retail store here within a few months and guess what my first big display is going to be?

ive kept a few before and needless to say, some werent happy that i even lived in the apartment with them. let alone handling them.

scary at times.

ive kept king cobras that were less intimidating.
