im assuming the female was the burm, or else the eggs would have been too big for the ball and would have killed it. i remember them running into this problem when trying to cross balls and bloods. so i would be interested to see how it looks and what it is size wise when matured.

as for now, the pattern is STUNNING and very clean.

it almost looks too good to be true.

whoever took the time to think it out, breed it, and hatch it out should be patted on the back for taking the hobby to a different level. not ridiculed. its genetic technology basically. if you dont like it, dont drive a new car or use electricity because these "new fangled" inventions were at one time demonized just as you make this new hybrid animal out to be.

im all for experimentation, and if they animals can do it, then let them.

my two cents...

You'll have to excuse my ignorance but if you cross breed two types of snake that are kept differently (for example diff temps and humidity) how do you determine which conditions u keep it in, or do u kinda take an average of the two? ...
I'm just curious ...

personally
i do not see the problem with hybridization of animals

if many people are willing to inbreed animals brother x sister or sister x mother for the sake of preserving a new morph or characteristic
which i personally find ALOT worse than any hybrid !!
i mean
would you have sex with your sister because you look attractive and so does she ?

then what is the problem with hybrids ?

also does anyone have any pictures of those babies without the yolk sack or pictures of them now they are a bit older ?

That's because of the social constraints that we as a species have developed. Look at most mammals - they would have absolutely no qualms about breeding with their closest relations. It's just that we humans find it distasteful Wink

We humans like to think we are better than animals, but it is likely our many of social constraints arise from biological urges. The aversion to incest is likely such a trait. Most mammals in fact have mechanisms to minimize inbreeding, often involving one of the sexes forced to leave the group and find mates elsewhere. On the other hand there are lots of humans that inbreed regularly. For instance among arabs it is quite normal to marry your nephew or niece, keeping the money in the family. The result is a vast increase in genetic disorders. Inbreeding is in humans less common that you would like to think Wink
