picked up a couple of new royals yesterday. didn't intend on buying any more yet but the male just jumped out at me. i don't know anything about his genetics so I'm assuming hes perfectly normal. he has some great yellow colouration so I'm just hoping it wont fade as he grows, anyone know if this is likely to fade or improve?
picked up a nice female as well at the same time but she is somewhat overshadowed by his colours (in my books anyway) Laughing .

this is him on his own.

here he is with a nice looking female that i will eventually pair him up with

i put one of my slightly larger female granites on my arm next to him for this shot. i always thought she had a lot of yellow on her until i saw this one.

cheers for looking, will

If he's a normal, amazing looking! I've got a female that's high yellow but no where near as clean as that. Did you pay more than usual for him? He looks like a pastel to me.

paid a little more than usual for him but not much at all. i would like it if he was something like a pastel but i thought all pastel's hatch with a lighter coloured head and although his is faded a bit i don't think it is faded enough for him to be a pastel.

cheers, will

Very nice! Really like the high contrast between the yellow and dark areas.
