after reading on various forums that all the animals were in good condition and that the animals were sent by special courier i.e TNT i decided to give them a try and bought myself a 2007 royal python which i received today. i read in the terms and conditions on his site that he sent his items by TNT which started from £15 but when i selected my animals only delivery method ( which was the only animal one available) it was £7. cheap i thought for a courier but as it was 20% off on the site i naively thought that had something to do with it,that was quickly erased from my head when this morning my royal turned up by royal mail special delivery! the poor thing was in a cricket type container on some paper toweling with a cold heat pad under it.this was then in a small cardboard box and that was it. the box was marked up live insects. the poor thing was freezing cold and I'll be surprised if it doesn't get a resp infection. i also dread to think how the box was handled on its night journey. one good thing is the animal does look in good condition so no complaints there,i just hope it stays that way. anyway make your own mind up when deciding to deal with them in the future or not as i know i have...

Ohh that is bad ... i have only heard of good thing from E&T as of yet ... have you contacted them letting them know etc

What a shame poor wee mite! Im sure they will be just fine, but its completely unacceptable to send something through an unsuitable (and now illegal) courier.

the snake seems none worse for wear after its ordeal so it will hopefully be fine. I've got plenty of experience (14 yrs) of keeping various reps including royals so least its at a good home to give it the best chance.

just been on the e&t website and they have now changed the delivery method to courier so hopefully no more animals will suffer from being sent through the post....

i have just bought a royal also from this site,before seeing this thread. and it will be ariving tuesday, i will let you all know the state it arives in, iv heard good things about them, but bad things about cf royals, so im in two minds, but yeah, like i said il keep u updated on the deliever and that.

I have no expeience in royals but i have 3 corns and 4 leo geckos, and have read all about royals and asking questions to ppl that have them, just hope i do i good enough job Smile
