Just for interests sake (not ill intended) Rinkhals aren't true cobras. They spread a hood, and that's about where the similarity ends. Their scales are keeled whereas a cobra has smooth scales, and as stated, they give live birth.

Their "spitting" action is more a slinging in a general direction as opposed to true spitters.
