i doubt it has escaped any ones notice that we are currently being shafted with a big stick by the animal rights activists. reptiles are an easy start because most of the country wouldn't bat an eyelid if they realized they could no longer keep a reptile. make no mistake, reptiles are the beginning but eventually their aim is to stop any non native animal being kept as a pet (that includes your goldfish, hamsters etc) please help by signing online petitions like this one and have a read through the animal welfare act to get an idea of what is going on behind the scenes.....if its left too late there is a good chance we will not be able to keep reptiles at all in the future.
