Hiya, just a note that might be of help to someone out there. I read somewhere that a gravid snake needs to drink plenty of water shortly before giving birth, and that eggs can fail if she does not have clean water available. My albino Bull is due to give birth within the next few days, last year I hatched 20 babies from her. She is guzzling water, and it reminded me of the article that I had read.
Clean water is always available for her, but it is noticeable that she is extra thirsty now. Has anyone else read or observed this ?
Because last year she ignored the laying box that was provided and instead layed the eggs on the heat mat.... I am getting up during the night to check on her. |

Maybe this time move your laying box to a warmer part of the viv. Hope you get lots of lovely babies. _________________ 3.3 corns
