right found some inspiration, so really just wondering what people use for sealing the whole thing,
also baking drift wood in the oven how long do u usually bake it for?
what do people think of this;
3 pieces of wood to make a platform for wires etc and also to give me a decent surface area then gluing a sheet of cork on it so it kinda resembles
l____l l_______l l___l <- that's the 3 wooden pieces kinda resembling the back of the exo terra...
then getting 4 decent size bits of drift wood (live next to a giant weir so theres tons of driftwood there) to make like a series of branches in the background then filling it with expandable foam to keep the branches in.
read that tile adhesive is ok is that right??
will cover the foam in adhesive and then pva.
whats best substrate to use to cover the foam? going for a rainforest kinda approach so any tips guidance would be more than welcome =D |
