Can anyone tell me what their thoughts are on this item. I have a 260 gallon flexarium and I want to know if it is a good product. I have heard some mixed reviews on it. I will be using it for my Mexi black kingsnake when he grows out of his current tank. Does anyone have one? What should I look out for?

Thank you

Ive heard they are very good for the right animal, ben_gecko has one and he thinks its really good, i believe he's keeping 3 crestie geckos in the or a tokay (?). But as for snakes im not so sure, i first thought they would be quite flimsy but upon inspection it was fairly sturdy.
They certainly have alot of ventilation! And im not so good on gallons either, only know feet and inches! So cant say if it will be particularly good for your King?

Thank you.....The dimensions of it are 3' X 3' X 6'. Yes it is very sturdy. It was given to me by a friend who kept a Royal Python in it and it did fairly well for that. I think when the time comes I will just try it and see....if it sucks then I will just get another terrarium.

Hello Gimpy! yeh ive got 2 flexariums, both 22 Gallon, one houses a Crestie pair, the other a male Tokay, the 260 gallin is a nice big enclosure, but as Gimpy said, for the right animal, ive never heard of people using them for snakes, but i guess as long as u can get the right temps in there, i cant see a major problem, but im not a snake professional. but i always thought that the ol' wooden viv was a safe bet. glass exo's are good for GTP's etc. Im actually looking for a 260 Gal Flexarium second hand, so if it dont work out, PM me Wink

Well I wont be using it until he grows out of his current tank and then I will try it out. If it doesnt work out...well...I am not sure if it would be worth your while to get it shipped from Canada to the UK lol. Thats a long ways. It was given to me by my sister in-law who kept a Royal Python in it as I said before...but now that I think about it Im not so sure it was the best for that type of snake (humidity wise). But I think it should be ok for my snake as he prefers the dryer atmospheres anyway. Thanks for the input guys...Smile

hahah yeh, Canada is a bit too far haha, that was one of my main worries, humidity. only reason i use them is theyre in a controlled room, thats usually around the 60-70% mark in humidity.Good luck anyways!! maybe you should find something else to put in it should it not work out! like a cham pair with a mist system or something!! hehehe.
