Is it possible that hets have some sort of marker? I swear I heard somewhere that pieds have a marker, could be wrong.
The reason I ask is that one of mine shed last week and developed three white patches where she was previosly brown/tan. At first I thought they were scars but previously she had no marks, burns, cuts or gashes.

As you can see only the brown area is white and some of her scales to the upper right of the pic seem to be losing pigment
