is this starter kit any good?

http://www.everythingforpets.com/jon_cootes_advanced_crested_gecko_kit.pet/use.id.5.item_id.7344.dept.1293/

or is it worth putting the extra 60 pound to it to get a tank ill be able to use throughout a geckos life?

I dont use a heatmat, I have a light sat on the mesh top, which heats a part of the viv to 78f during the day, then the temp drops to 68-70f at night when i turn it off..My crestie sleeps at the top of the plants under the light. Gonna change it for a UV light now...

I have a 60w bulb, set on a timer, for 12 hours. Im contemplating a blue light for the night, so I can see him. Dont forget if you have alight on all day, make sure you spray the viv well, to keep the humidity up.

Timers from Argos mate £3.99 each. I use them for my Aquariums too.

I got my light fixture from a local rep shop, think I paid £20. Made by Trex I think.
