hey one of the best ways to spot them is to use artifical refugia, stuff like corrugated tin and roofing felt. lay them down and leave them for a while. then you can go back and check early morning around 8 or 9 BST or 5ish as this is when the heating starts up!

obviously be careful.

have fun

Ditto that! Wink

I'd love to hear an experts comments on observing Adders in the wild. Smile

One of my favourite spring and summer passtimes that is.

Adders are such cool little snakes to watch (from a distance, you should never disturb them!) and there our only native venomous snake!

I would like to get involved with a captive breeding and release project of my own someday when i'm more experianced with venomous. Smile
