Hi Guys
Has anyone got any advise on introducing an adult female leopard gecko to an established breeding pair ? I don't want any wars any help would be much appreciated

Keep them all separate and introduce the male when your wanting to breed them, and then take him back out after he's done the deed.

Thanks is there a strong reason for this technique? its just i got the established pair from a previous owner and they have lived together for along time.

Well I personally never had and never will keep a male and a female together. It certainly isn't natural and doesnt occur in the wild. But I also find that males will harass females all the more if they are together in breeding season. Some people get away with it but I think it stresses the female more than is necessary (they dont desire company anyway) and I find disease control and seeing who's eating and leaving healthy droppings easier with separate viv's.

That being said if it works for you then fair enough!
