I still remember watching that episode on TV about 10 years ago.
It was the first time I saw Steve Irwin.

I got it the other week from the co-op for a bargain price of £1.99, the man is a legend!
Cheers,

Your not wrong there mate! Very Happy

The guy brought wildlife into peoples homes like no other presenter before with such infectious enthusiasm and a genuine love of conservation.
If it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't be keeping vipers. All those years of watching his TV programmes really helped prepare me for this hobby even though I didn't know it at the time.

I learned so much about animal behaviour and snake posturing, I feel like I owe him a lot.

A lot of people thoght he was a show off and did things to be sensational or for maximum shock value but this just wasn't the case.
He just really knew his subject and what happened to him was just a tragic freak accident.
