I'm building a new 2*2.5 viv for my leopard gecko and have a few heat mats. I was going to use the one from the viv (s)he's in now, a 2x1x1 and a bit fish tank and the heat mat is about 1x1 so obviously too small for the new viv.
Out of the few mats i've got kicking about i've 2 * 17x6 where obviously 1 isn't big enough but 2 would do the trick. Instead of paying out for a dual mat stat would it be save to wire them both to the same plug?

after trying to decipher through the hieroglyphic like writing the best solution i can give you is getting a plug splitting extension that you can plug 3 into and you can plug that into the stat.
