I have a whites tree frog in need of help from my fellow froggers. He is off his food for a while and sleeping alot. not like him at all. Usually if i put the end of cricketkeeper in he jumps on it but hes been really lathargic and crickets are still in his viv so obviously not being eaten.
He is getting really really skinny now. he wont even take mealworms/waxworms.
HELLLLPPPPP cant loose this little guy.
All i can think of too upset him is that his night light has blown and i cant get replacement. And i changed his water bowl to a larger one couple of weeks ago. Also hes by the back door and this has been open most days. (although temp in tank is still roughly 26c)
Possible wrong move...I fed him a giant mealworm about 3weeks ago. I have just read they can bite the lining of the stomach He has had them before and has had no problems but Is this true? If it has happened im assuming he has a mighty big belly ache so if so what can help him?
Oh i have already been putting sugar into his water bowl to see if this helps.
Has anyone got any emergency supplies for boosting him up? Ill pay anything to get him better
Or any suggestions? please help x |
