Hi, just read the whole post, from the beggining, of little Jake`s plight. Myself and my 8 yr old son would like to send our warmest wishes to little Jake, and to say a big well done to you on his rescue!
I was gutted to hear the RSPCA couldnt find enough eveidence to support your claim, I wonder if you`d have reported him that same night, something could have been proved, but however, I totaly appreciate you put all your efforts into saving your new baby!
But perhaps this could be a lesson to all of us, to perhaps act sooner, and not to worry about offending the b*******s who keep and breed reps for profit, with no correct knowledge of care requirements, or in this case, pure, willful neglect.
Well done in your rescue, and good luck with him!
