i went out the other day and just practiced with my macro lens trying to use the manual focus and trying to get all of the shots perfectly in focus. i must say that by the end of the day my results were far better than my previous attempts. ill load some onto photobucket and post them in a bit. also, I've been told by a relative that it would be worth buying a ringflash. Is this true, what are the benefits of this over a normal flash?
