I am intrigued to know what you were thinking now! To put you out of your misery Anna, a lobster cockroach is a species of soft bodied cockroach from the Carribean that is used , (more increasingly of late) as a feeder insect to feed Chameleons and various other lizards , larger amphibians and some, wait for it, SPIDERS!
Here are some;

They look like the ones you can get covered in crystals to wear on your hand with a little leash.
Thankyou - you're very helpful all of you you know.
I like it in here.
....and I think I've fallen in love with a baby lizardy thing.

Senegal Chameleons? I have some. They don`t stay that size though. They reach about 12" from nose to tail.
The first ones you saw don`t get any bigger than 3".
I am not trying to put you off at all, in fact I hope you do end up with a Reptile or Amphibian of some sort as you seem to care well for your dogs and probably would do your best for any other animal that you were to keep, BUT all lizards need feeding with various kinds of creepy crawlies which you would have to keep as well.
If this doesn`t put you off, then you have to come to the right place, this forum, for help and information.
I bet you end up with a scaly pet of some kind.
Good luck on Sunday. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

It took me nearly two years to get my research on my dogs to the level where I was happy to own one, that and build the support network I need should I ever have problems - and I had to buy a house to put them in! SO I don't think I'll be leaping on the scaly bandwagon for a while. But those little cham...amamal. Them Lizardy things are very sweet. Do they eat Camel spiders?
I can't even spell chamealeonononone Don Corleone yet......

That's it! pmsl.
You lot are a bad influence.
Was going all gooey over the little baby ones last night. Once I've got snakes out of my head I'll start looking at them more seriously but for the moment they're a nice distraction from Baby and Mustard (and more importantly Stuart and Andy.....)
