its no hastle. i just take them in tubs, or ryan comes here. in fact i have some corns to be probed!!!! now they are too wiggly for me. no way would i try them.

I dont 'pop' as I have said, but I have learned to probe. First thing is to watch someone with experience ( Chaz at Snakes and Adders ) then try and read as much as possible about how to do it safely, then watch some more with your renewed knowledge. Then try it yourself with someone supervising you and guiding you. Then get a really good set of probes ( Cornish Crispa's are good for a set of 6 different sizes) Then when on your own, try a 'known' sex first, and I found it helpful to try a male first. Then you can try your unknown sex snake.

P.S. Its very scarey first time but I found the Royals quite amenable and didnt wriggle that much.

I've hed my biggest females whilst they were probed, I bought them as female, but you have to check My longest one probes as Male one side and female the other

I'm going to make sure I have VERY intensive lessons I think, just to be sure
