Nice viv, bit large, if to large can make them feel insecure whilst they are babies, UV in my view would be better across the top with a reflector , even if it is in diagonally. What strength is it?
Personally I would downsize the whole set up to a terrarium about 45x45x45 max for the first few months, or even smaller than that.
A 30x30x30 even. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

I do honestly think that would be a good move. UV strength is spot on for a Yemen. See in a large viv babies can easily forgot their routes back an forth and this causes them stress, and to big a viv can cause stress due to insecurity. They can also find it hard to hunt for food, although you give yours in a bowl.
Remember though good gutloading of insects and good fresh food for insects including salad etc. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Mesh top and lower front if you can. Mesh top draws hot air out, and draws cool air in at lower front, more mesh required for adult Yemens, less for babies as they require slightly higher humidity so as not to dehydrate. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

I would suggest 75% glass front and 25% mesh. Some folk are opposed to glass fullstop in cham vivs but there is a time and place for everything and for babies this works well for humidity purposes. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
