Well great celebicum to start with and it looks as if you have both sexes too !
That would definately work for P. giganteum .
Do you just keep the celebicum and the tiaratum ? _________________ -Oli-H- |

There are at least two male P celebicum nymphs in the group Oli.
So far just the leafs, ET`s, and some Jungle nymphs.
I am sure it will expand though! Any suggestions?? _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

- Dares validispinus - Small species - Good Camouflage .
- Phenacephorus cornucervi - Impressive species - Very twig like .
- Oreophoetes peruana - Only eat Ferns - Preferably , Dryopteris filix-mas - Nice Colours .
- Haaniella muelleri - Rather like Jungle nymphs but both brown - very hardy .
- Paramenexenus laetus - Bright green - practically bulletproof .
- Parectatosoma mocquerysi - Only eat Hypericum - Can exude a red dye which can stain the skin , sometimes hurts a bit .
- Peruphasma schultei - Only eat Privet - Stunning jet black colour with red wings . _________________ -Oli-H- |

Did keep the traditional indian sticks as a child, and had some ET`s later in life also. The rain forest is what interest`s me mainly and all life from it be it Mammalian, Reptillian, Amphibian, Bird, Fish or Invert. So a collection of Phasmids from various different parts of the World would suit me pretty well i think. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

Hi Peter great pics of your celebicum - i love the way their second and third pairs of legs fit so neatly against the body when at rest.
i would think that tank would be absolutely fine for some giganteum, to be honest all this talk is making me want some more myself so maybe soon i will be attracting odd looks again while out collecting bramble!
as for other phasmids i would definitly agree with Oli on the oreophoetes peruana - they look so fragile but have the most amazing colours, and any of the Dares species also make very interesting captives.
Oli i would be interested to hear if you track down some bioculatum this was one species i could never find! |

Yes Keiron, the P. celebicum are a work of art for sure. Wouldn`t hurt you to keep a few again Keiron surely!
I think I shall be expanding in the future. They are a pleasure to keep and a stunning slice of nature in their own right. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD
